Victorian Walnut Occasional Table with Shaped Top & Under Tier, on Bow Legs
A good example of a classic late Victorian piece from around 1880-1900, in very good condition and made of walnut throughout, with nicely-grained shaped oval top, having thumb-moulded & rounded edge, supported on swagged frieze, bow legs and wedge feet, with similar shaped under tier carried by bracket stretchers, this attractive occasional table will charm in any elegantly-furnished living room, entrance hall or bedroom.
Length 66cm x Width 49.5cm (26" x 19.5")
Height to Top 72cm (28.25") & Height to Under Tier 28.75cm (11.25")
This is a late Victorian piece, so you may expect the mature character that only develops with genuine age plus minor wear & tear but, having been professionally & sympathetically restored, it's in very good, clean & sound condition and is ready to use in your home.
