19thC Mahogany Fold-Over Top Pedestal Tea Table on Quadruped Platform Base
A very good quality heavy mahogany pre-Victorian piece, in very good condition for its age with a richly-grained top that has rounded front corners & edges, over a panelled frieze with scrolled brackets, the fold-over top dark & warmly-grained and, unusually, secured on a brass catch, indicating the quality of the piece, on a tapering rectangular pedestal with projecting & rounded corner mouldings over scrolled brackets on a quadruped platform base, on large bun feet that conceal brass casters, this wonderful tea table will impress in the most elegant of period-furnished homes, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will surely attract.
NB: The Salon Chair shown in one picture is not included!

This is a 19thC piece, so you may expect the mature character & patina that only develops with genuine age, plus the wear & tear of normal use but it's otherwise in very good, clean & sound condition and ready to use in your home.
