20th Century Regency Style Mahogany Sofa Table

A first quality 20thC interpretation of a Regency period mahogany design and in very good condition, with lovely colour, figured top & drop-leafs with rounded corners and reeded edges, over two inline drawers with cock-beaded fronts, large brass roundel plates & ring drop-handles, all on square pillar end supports united by an arched stretcher and resting on out-swept & moulded legs, terminating in brass claw feet & casters, this great piece is, technically, a sofa table but has served both as a dining table and hall table for the previous owners and it will impress anywhere in the most elegant of homes, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the envious attention it will surely attract.
