Edwardian Mahogany Music Cabinet with Gallery Top
A one-off mahogany piece from around the turn of the 20thC, generally in good condition though with minor cosmetic issues, probably converted at some point from a washbowl stand, with three-quarter gallery top, over a swagged frieze, on turned and ring-moulded supports, with two vertical dividers, perhaps for records, over a single drawer with Aesthetic style brass drop-handle, on turned & tapering legs, this unusual music or magazine cabinet will charm in any elegant home and is sure to attract the flattering attention of your guests.
Width 51.25cm x Depth 41cm (c20.25" x c16.25")
Height to Top 76.75cm (30.25") & Height O/All 85.5cm (c33.75")
This piece dates from around 1890-1910, so you may expect the mature character & patina of age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use, including light marks throughout but, otherwise, it's generally in good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
