An elegant late Victorian mahogany piece in very good condition, with acanthus leaf scrolled and split pediment, tall and slender turned urn-based supports topped by ball finials, on paired lateral cabriole-shaped legs and hoof feet, united by a plain stretcher with four mid support posts, the frame glazed and recently fitted with a botanical printed fabric called 'Greenacre' by Colefax & Fowler, the rear with a mahogany stained board, this lovely cheval firescreen will please in any tastefully furnished reception room, fully-deserving of the appreciative attention it will surely attract.
