Early 20thC Chinese Export Hardwood Urn Stand with Marble Inset Top

A good early 20thC Chinese hardwood export piece in good condition, having a slightly unusual pentagonal top with button-moulded edges and circular marble inset, on a concave frieze moulding, on five cabriole shaped legs united by interlocking stretchers to the base with a central boss and by pierced aprons above, all elaborated with sinuous branches, cherry blossom and fiery dragons' faces to each corner, this classic urn stand is modestly proportioned and will charm in any elegantly-appointed home, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully deserving of the appreciative attention it will certainly attract.
