A top quality Edwardian mahogany piece in very good condition with lovely colour throughout, having a nicely-figured square top with satinwood cross-banded & over-sailing moulded edges to front & sides and pedimented up-stand to the rear, over a panelled door with satinwood cross-banding to its edges and within the central recessed panel, with an oval decorative brass drop-handle on a tear-drop plate, the door secured on a ball-catch and concealing the 2-compartment interior with a panelled back incorporating circular cut-outs for ventilation, all on a projecting moulding to the base and bracketed tapering square legs, this fine bedside cabinet or pot cupboard will impress in the most elegant of homes, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the flattering attention it will undoubtedly attract.
