Mid-Victorian Mahogany Hall or Serving Table
A fine solid mahogany piece from around 1860-80 with a highly-figured top that has a projecting moulding to front & sides, a pediment upstand to the rear with circular segment at its centre, over a plain frieze with quarter moulding to its lower edge, all on turned & tapering front legs with ring-moulding and unusual pilaster rear supports, this good-looking Victorian hall or serving table will impress in any elegantly-furnished reception hall or living room, whether period inspired or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will surely attract.
Width 117.5cm x Depth 52.5cm (46.25" x 20.75")
Height of Top 83.25cm (32.75") & O/All Height at Rear 108.5cm (42.75")
This is a mid-Victorian piece, so you may expect the mature character & patina of considerable age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use, including a stable split in the top but, in all other respects, it's in good, clean & sound condition, ready to be used in your home.
