A fine William IV period rosewood veneered piece in good condition, with circular, button-upholstered seat, covered in a silk-work fabric in pale greens, terracotta & gold on a cream ground, having a floral design with hunting dog & deer, supported on a tapering octagonal column with brass adjustable-height screw, on a ring-moulded base with three scroll feet, this lovely stool will charm in the most elegant of bed- or reception rooms, fully-deserving of the appreciative attention it is bound to attract.

Dia. of Seat 35cm (13.75") & Height 46.5cm - 54.5cm (18.25" - 21.5")

This is a period piece dating from around 1830-40, so you may expect the mature character & patina of considerable age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use, including slight losses to the veneer on the circular base but, in other respects, it's in good, clean & sound condition and is ready to use in your home.
