A fine William IV period mahogany piece in very good condition, with beautifully figured timber throughout, the drop-leaves with rounded corners and supported on two hinged & recessed brackets when raised, the top over a frieze drawer at both ends, the drawer fronts cock-beaded and with turned roundel pull-handles, the frieze with dome-head moulding to the lower edge, all supported on a substantial turned column on quadruped base with swept legs and scrolled haunches, with the original brass shoes and later Victorian casters, this wonderful Pembroke centre table will impress in the most elegant of reception rooms, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the admiring attention of your guests.

Length 102cm x Width with Drop-Leaves Down 54cm (40" x 21.25"), Width with Drop-Leaves Raised 106cm (41.75") & Height ca 71.75cm (28.25")

NB: The top is not quite level, being 71cm high at one end & 72.5cm high at the other end.

This piece dates from around 1830-40, so you may expect the mature character & patina of considerable age but, now professionally & sympathetically restored, it's in very good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
