Regency Mahogany Bow-Front Chest of Drawers
An excellent Regency period mahogany piece in good condition, with nicely-figured veneer throughout, the top with rounded edges to front & sides, over a bow-front comprising two short and three graduated long drawers, the drawer fronts cock-beaded and with substantial turned knobs and brass escutcheons, the locks all present but the key missing, over a swagged apron and out-swept feet, this lovely, generously-proportioned chest of drawers is both stylish and immensely practical and will impress in any tastefully-appointed home, fully-deserving the admiring attention it will surely attract.
Max. Width at Top 103.25cm x Max. Depth 50.75cm (40.75" x 20")
Height 104.5cm (41.25")
This is a period piece from around 1810-30, so you may expect the mature character & patina of considerable age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use, including some cracking of the veneer to the edges of both sides of the top (Pictures available upon Request) and a very minor loss to the left-hand side only but, in all other respects, it's in good, clean & sound condition and is ready to use in your home.
