A notable late 19thC Aesthetic Style mahogany piece in good condition, with bevel-edged top and later inset leather skiver, supported on four lobed brackets and a plain frieze, accommodating a single full-width drawer fitted with little square brass drop-handles on rustic plates and with a working lock & key, on ring-turned legs with tapering feet, fitted with the original brass shoes and brown ceramic casters, this lovely lady's writing table will charm in any elegant period-furnished home, fully-deserving of the appreciative attention it will surely attract.
Width of Top 91.75cm x Depth 53cm (36.25" x 21") & Height 74.75cm (29.5")
This piece dates from the end of the 19thC, so you may expect the mature character & patina of age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use but it has now been professionally & sympathetically refurbished and is in good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
