A fine Regency mahogany chair from around 1812-30 and in very good condition, with reeded & scroll-topped back supports contiguous with sabre rear legs, united by reeded & panelled back-rest and turned rope-twist bar, with over-stuffed seat covered in a floral print fabric with braided trim, the arms resting on brick kiln supports, over panelled blocks and turned & tapering front legs, this great carver or desk chair will impress in the most elegant of homes, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will surely attract.
