Georgian Revival Mahogany Framed Fret-Cut Wall Mirror
An impressive mahogany framed Georgian Revival mirror from around 1890-1910 and in very good condition, with elaborately scrolled fret-cut pediment incorporating a shell inlay in an oval medallion and with a similarly scrolled apron, the bevelled glass with decoratively modelled gilt slip-frame, a picture frame with thumb- & bead- double moulding, this wall mirror is notable both for its size and the fact that it is designed to be hung in landscape format and it will impress in any elegantly-furnished reception hall or living room, fully-deserving of the admiring attention it will surely attract.
Width O/All 77.25cm x Height 66.75cm (30.5" x 26.25")
Width of Glass 67cm x Height 37cm (26.5" x 14.5")
