Small Late Victorian Set of Mahogany Wall Shelves with Pierced Ends
An attractive and modestly-proportioned mahogany set of 3 wall-hung shelves from around 1890-1910, in perfectly presentable condition, having pierced ends with applique diamond shapes, bevelled front edges to the shelves and a serpentine frill to the lowest shelf, this piece will charm in the most discerningly-appointed of homes, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in style.
Width 58cm x Height 60.5cm (22.75" x 23.75") & Depth 13cm (ca 5")
This piece comes from around the turn of the 20thC, so you may expect the mature character & patina of age, together with minor wear & tear and cosmetic blemishes, mainly to the top shelf (see Pics.) but, otherwise, it's in good, clean & sound condition, ready to be used in your home.
