Victorian Pine Wall-Hung Kitchen Cabinet & Shelves
A Victorian pine cabinet from around 1880-1900, I'm guessing, in fashionably shabby condition and ripe for up-cycling, with a main cabinet that provides a single, large open shelved compartment with carved frill, over a small cupboard with panelled door and brass knob, plus a single, small drawer with brass drop-handle and another smaller shelved compartment with shallow-arched front, the whole with serpentine back panel and wings for little corner shelves and a scrolled up-stand to the top, this wall-hung piece will charm in any country kitchen, whether furnished with natural pine or painted in a chic contemporary style.
Width of Main Cabinet 59.75cm x Height 46.75cm (23.5" x 18.5")
Width O/All 84.5cm x Height O/All 64.5cm (33.25" x 25.5")
Depth 17.5cm (7")
This is a survivor from the late 19thC, so expect dilapidations commensurate with considerable age and old repairs, including a metal plate to the rear of the top scroll; it's ripe for painting now, if you wish but, otherwise, it's in serviceable, clean & sound condition and ready to be used in your home as it is.
