A fine walnut-framed parlour piece from around 1880 but in good, presentable condition, with button-upholstered bow back & arms, in a dark terracotta velvet fabric, on shaped square rear legs and continental style cabriole front legs with pronounced whorl foot, all legs on brass casters, with serpentine seat front over carved & scrolled apron with a floral central boss, this stylish and eminently comfortable lady's easy chair will charm in any elegantly-appointed sitting room, whether period-furnished or more contemporary in inspiration and will surely attract the admiring attention of family & guests alike.
